Parish Priest & Staff
PARISH PRIEST - Fr Mani Malana
Fr. Mani Malana MSFS was appointed by the Archdiocese of Sydney to be Parish Priest here at Holy Family Parish from 4 August 2016. Prior to this, his previous appointments were as the Administrator at All Saints Parish, Liverpool and Our Lady of the Rosary Fairfield temporarily.
He belongs to the Congregation of the Missionaries of Saint Francis De Sales (MSFS) whose headquarters are based in Rome.
Fr. Mani was at St Michael’s Parish Hurstville from 2005 until 2013.
ASSISTANT PRIEST - Fr John Pham
Fr. John joined the Seminary of the Good Shepherd, Homebush in 2011 and was ordained priest at St Mary’s Cathedral Sydney in September 2020. He was then appointed as the assistant priest of St Mark’s Parish Drummoyne where he had his placement as well as his Diaconal ordination in 2019. Fr John had his long term placement here at Holy Family Menai back in 2016 and 2017 as part of his formation for the priesthood.
He was the Assistant Priest of the Holy Family Parish starting from 14 June 2021.
Seminarian - Likisone Tominiko (Sone)
Sone joined our parish in November 2020. He is completing his 5th year as a Seminarian and part of his formation to the Priesthood is living, working and understanding the Parish life. Guided by both the Parish Priest and the Assistant Priest with help from the Parish community, Sone will further his knowledge and understanding of the life of sacrifice and service in the Priesthood. He is involved in many different aspects of the parish such as school, nursing home, pastoral home visit, youth group and the sacramental programs of the Parish.
Parish Secretary - Andrea Hunt
Looking after administration and bookkeeping of the parish as well as Baptism, Wedding and Funeral inquires or arrangements. Andrea is available in the office Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 8.30am – 4pm and on Wednesdays 8.30am – 12.30pm.
Sacramental Coordinator - Eleanor Emmerson
For all inquires regarding to First Reconciliation, First Holy Communion, and Confirmation. Eleanor is available Thursday and Friday, 9.00am – 3.00pm during the school terms only.
Volunteer PSSO Officer - Christopher Fetherston
Safeguarding Support Officer (PSSO) ensures all our volunteer requirements are in place for our Catholic Professional Standards Limited (CPSL) audit in 2020.
